The NW TN Workforce Board is proud to bring an exciting and informative webinar series to employers!
The webinars, created in an effort to connect with Northwest Tennessee employers in a Covid-cautious way, provide relevant and meaningful content in a no-cost and convenient method.
In this first webinar, Business Services Representatives for the Northwest TN Workforce Board, Lana Wood and Maleia Evans, will explain Best Practices for hosting a Virtual Job Fair/Hiring Event using the Premier Virtual platform--a new tool available FREE to NW TN employers through the Workforce Board and American Job Centers. Wood and Evans will demonstrate how Employers can utilize Premier Virtual platform to host Virtual Job Fairs or add the feature to an In-Person Hiring Event to make it a Hybrid Event. "The goal is for employers to increase their applicant pools by making open positions more accessible to job seekers using this new tool," says Evans.
The Business Services Team is planning future webinars throughout the year, including topics such as Apprenticeships, Work Experience, and Labor Market Research and Trends. According to Maleia Evans, since the webinars can accommodate up to 100 attendees in each region-wide event, the goal is to reach all potentially interested employers. Each event will be recorded and made available on our YouTube page after it takes place.
