As of July 1, 2022, we have transitioned to operating from three certified American Job Centers – Dyersburg, Huntingdon, and Dresden. Staff have been relocated to one of the remaining certified AJCs and we are continuing to add access points throughout the remaining counties for staff to use as needed for meeting with customers. Those customers in Benton, Crockett, Gibson, Henry, Lake, and Obion can choose to visit one of the American Job Centers, or may choose to contact one of these centers to set up an appointment at a local access point.
American Job Center (AJC) access points are created to supplement and enhance access to AJC services in support of comprehensive centers and affiliate AJC sites. Collaboration with community organizations and partners increases the quality and quantity of access points for individuals to receive needed career information and assistance. In addition to offering public computers and Internet access for jobseekers and individuals, many community organizations also provide space for employers as they host career fairs and networking events.
Access points are currently being developed, so please check back for updates. And as always, customers may utilize the Virtual American Job Center 24/7 at https://www.tnvirtualajc.com/
