In December 2014 the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development launched its new Virtual One-Stop system, Jobs4TN, which offers an assortment of tools to aid job seekers, employers, and staff. Jobs4TN is also available as an App that can be used on smart phones and tablets.
Jobs4TN also offers tools for employers to help them connect to ideal candidates based on the qualifications that are most important to them.
- Employers can use the system to post a job and automatically screen candidates based on their search criteria.
- Virtual Recruiting offered through Jobs4TN allows employers online access to thousands of qualified local job seekers and allows for daily notifications of new applicants. Employers can view and screen job seeker’s résumés by various qualifications such as location, experience, education, and certifications, including the National Career Readiness Certificate.
- Candidates can be contacted directly through the message center for additional information or to schedule an interview.
